Pupils take an active part in sports events across the region. As well as regular football, netball and tag-rugby matches and tournaments we also take advantage of sporting opportunities that happen in Bradley Stoke, South Gloucestershire and Bristol. Every year we have teams entered at the South Gloucestershire Festivals of Sport, the South Gloucestershire swimming gala, cross country races and other sporting events. Our children take an active part in sport locally and we work closely with clubs such as St Mary’s Rugby Club, Bristol Rugby and Gloucestershire Cricket Club.
Pupils broaden their learning in areas such as science and humanities and develop their creativity through music, art and drama. Ofsted
At the end of the school day we have a wide range of clubs available to children. Some are run by our teachers, teaching assistants and sports coach. Others are run by outside providers who will ask for a payment for your child to take part. Our older children also run a range of lunchtime clubs for younger children.
In the last year our staff have run clubs such as football, netball, drama, choir, coding, science, and running club to name a few. For an up to date list of school clubs please click here. Outside providers have run Sports Heroes, gymnastics club, Colourguard, martial arts, tag rugby club, football club, and multisports.
On the playground, pupils play well together and are considerate to each other as they play. Ofsted
