Special Educational Need or Disability

At Meadowbrook we are committed to meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs. Our staff are committed to ensuring that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress at our school.

Every child is unique, and we aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum for all. This includes a programme of challenge and extension for our highly able pupils, and support for those requiring more assistance to achieve their potential.

Disabled pupils and those with special educational needs are making good progress because their individual needs are carefully analysed when they join the school and they benefit from effective support. Ofsted

Provision is carefully planned and implemented for any pupil requiring additional learning or behavioural support, using our dedicated Special Educational Needs or Disability Co-ordinator, Sam McDowall.
